I am a research fellow and designer based in the Innovation School at The Glasgow School of Art. My work focuses on transdisciplinary collaboration and the role for design in support the engagement of multiple stakeholders across health and care (e.g. people, practitioners, businesses, health professionals and academics) towards creating meaningful change.
Motivated by stories and experiences, I’m interested in the potential for experiential learning through collaborative practice, how this might be captured and shared through creative visualisation and how these rich insights can be realised into value propositions for innovation.
I’ve worked across a number of design and non-design roles across the Highlands and Islands including gallery curation, project management and business development for cultural and creative sectors and public policy R&D for local government. This cross-disciplinary experience and knowledge contributes significantly to the DHI projects I’m involved in, supporting meaningful engagement across health and wellbeing, design, academia and business.
