Angela Tulloch

Design Innovation - Research Associate

Angela is a design researcher with expertise in co-design and visualisation of complex systems.

Originally from the Shetland Isles, she has an interest in working in remote and rural contexts. She engages people to rethink current health and social care challenges, while developing and delivering inclusive and participatory design approaches to digital health and care.

Angela has undertaken a variety of research projects including Digital Streets, looking at the role of digital in improving street accessibility in Elgin; Nursing Records and Open Innovation which explored the challenges of record keeping and considered new ways of keeping nursing records that are accessible and valuable; and Ritual Respect which explored emotional support for women around miscarriage.

She has developed materials for several public engagement exhibitions including TEDxGlasgow and Tech Care: Care Tech, asking people to rethink the role of technology in future health and wellbeing and share their thoughts and ideas.
