Dr Megan Palmer-Abbs

Research Fellow

Megan has over 20 years’ experience (public, private and academia) in strategy, governance, innovation and development. Previously a Director and Senior Consultant in an award-winning Sustainable Construction Consultancy and Board of Management for a HEI, she has extensive experience in generating simple solutions to complex challenges. Her doctorate research focused on digital technology innovation and societal change.

Megan is part of our design team, specialising in qualitative research. She employs her extensive background (rural, digital and development) with design innovation, bringing research-based solutions to complex 'real world' situations. Her focus is resolving current challenges in Health & Care through intelligent, innovative solutions, synergising research-based findings with industry to develop practical and creative outputs.

Her roles include, but are not limited to, innovation and interdisciplinary research, multi-stakeholder interface and development (rural & urban). She is adept in working in New Product and Service development bringing together her industry and academic experiences.
