Commercial Aspects on the Demonstration and Simulation Environment

The Demonstration and Simulation Environment (DSE), is an integral part of the commercial structure of the DHI. This facility provides the opportunity for partners of the DHI to demonstrate and/or view the latest innovations in Digital Health and Care. Industrial partners both large and small are invited to demonstrate existing innovations, or in collaboration with other DHI partners develop new integrated solutions to current issues in the provision of health and care in Scotland.

However, the DSE is not restricted to Scottish centered organisations. The DHI is working in collaboration with Scottish Enterprise and Scottish Development International to establish the DSE as a centre for the development of commercially robust globally applicable digital technologies. The DHI has established collaborative relationships or close working ties with organisations based in Denmark, Norway, Catalonia, Finland, Estonia, and the United States.

The DSE is also a key part of the recently established DHI Commercial Advisory Network (CAN). The CAN is a group of people and organisations with a keen interest in establishing the core elements necessary to create an effective, viable set of commercial activities. Activities that will allow the DHI to further its ambitions for Digital Health innovation adoption and dissemination, and to establish the DSE as a key facility not only in Scotland or indeed Europe but on that has significant global recognition.

The DHI would like to invite existing or potentially new partners to contact our Core Team to discuss any ideas you may have that could be part of the future of digital health and care in Scotland. Where those ideas meet the core objectives of the DHI, and are promoted in a way that encourages the participation of a range of collaborative partners, the DHI would welcome the opportunity to discuss those opportunities with you. Where successful any ideas progressed to development stage shall be hosted within the DSE with the purpose of demonstrating those ideas to a range of potentially interested parties within the health and care sector. We very much look forward to hearing from your organisation.
