Scottish Access Collaborative kicks of four new pieces of work with NHS services.
In January, the SAC team began working with four new NHS specialties: general surgery, breast surgery, dermatology, and vascular surgery stakeholders. The team facilitated four, one day workshops with expert stakeholders from each specialty, exploring current NHS clinical pathways, common symptoms, and salient issues. In the coming weeks, the team will facilitate two further design workshops with each specialty. These workshops will focus on co-developing ideas and recommendations for service innovations in response to the agreed key issues. These recommendations will be published in individual reports per specialty and submitted to the SAC board later in the year.
