New DHI and Nesta collaboration

Monday, July 1, 2019

Following discussions with Nesta Scotland around the impact of innovation in Digital Health & Care in Scotland, the DHI and Nesta are to collaborate on new opportunities focusing on the cross over between the digital health and care innovation agenda and education.

Adam Lang, Head of Nesta in Scotland said: “As a global innovation foundation, Nesta’s mission is to bring bold ideas to life that change the world for good. One of our five areas of focus in Scotland is health and care. We research, fund and support innovations that help people improve health and well-being, using tools such as data, peer-support and digital technologies, while also working with frontline staff to drive genuinely innovative systems change.”

Moira Mackenzie, Director of Innovation, Digital Health & Care Institute said, “Digital offers us fantastic opportunities to traverse traditional organisational boundaries and collaborate on a cross and multi-sectoral basis. We look forward to joining forces with Nesta colleagues, in Scotland, to focus our strengths in innovation on shared challenges.”
