DIGI-B-CUBE open call: SMEs against Covid-19

The Covid-19 pandemic is an unprecedented challenge for healthcare systems. DIGI-B-CUBE offers direct financial support to projects focusing on integrating digital innovations and disruptive technologies across the Medical Diagnostics and related value chains.

Summary: The INNOSUP funded DIGI-B-CUBE project aims to unlock the cross-sectoral potential of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and generate innovative solutions to reconfigure patient-centred diagnostics towards a Health Economy 4.0.

The Covid-19 pandemic represents an unprecedented challenge for healthcare systems and societies worldwide. As a result, there is an urgent need to support SMEs capable of delivering innovative projects addressing the broad range of Covid-19 related challenges.

This supports SMEs in combating Covid-19 through transversal collaborative projects integrating digital innovation and disruptive technologies across the medical diagnostics and related value chains. Two different vouchers are available:

  • prototyping voucher — supporting projects aiming to conceptualise a solution for a digitalisation challenge, for consortia consisting of at least two SMEs and maximum of three organisations from at least two different sectors
  • customised solution innovation voucher — supporting joint projects aiming to develop a novel product or service based on an existing proven concept that addresses a digitalisation challenge, for consortia consisting of at least two SMEs from at least two different sectors

Who: SMEs established in EU Member states or Horizon 2020 associated countries.

Closing Date: 03/02/2021

Value: Prototyping voucher – up to 20k Euros per SME, and up to 60k Euros per project; Customised innovation voucher - 50k Euros per SME, up to 150k Euros per project
