Job opportunity: Digital Mental Health Innovation Cluster Manager

Are you highly motivated, experienced in making change happen, and driving forward programmes of work? If so, the Digital Health & Care Innovation Centre is recruiting a Digital Mental Health Innovation Cluster Manager to join our team!

The Digital Health and Care Innovation Centre (DHI) is a national organisation which brings together Scotland's public sector, academia, charities and industry to create new ways of working, and to co-design digital solutions to some of the country's biggest health and care challenges.

Our unique needs-led approach is an essential link between the Scottish Government’s national priorities and the wealth of talent across different sectors and communities in Scotland. We create opportunities for innovators, entrepreneurs and enterprises to develop scalable, and commercially viable solutions for use across Scotland and for export to other markets. We help position Scotland at the forefront of the growing global digital health and care economy through developing the right workforce, skills, infrastructure, products and policies to attract investment and new jobs.

DHI is hosted by the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow and we are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and creative Collaboration Manager with excellent vision and proven leadership skills. This position will suit someone who possesses a blend of digital and mental heathcare skills and experience. Applicants should have the passion and drive to effect real change in the delivery of health and care by harnessing the power of digital with a key focus on building collaborative relationships.

Applications are invited from candidates who are highly motivated and experienced in making change happen and driving forward programmes. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing, developing and the ongoing management of the Digital Mental Health Innovation Cluster.

The DHI will administer and manage the innovation cluster on behalf of the Scottish Government Digital Mental Health Programme Team and Programme Board. The Scottish Government have funded this post for two years. Deliverables will include the further development of the digital mental health innovation cluster and the establishment of a programme and infrastructure to support this.

This innovation programme will last for a 24-month period, to support the action 15.7 of the Coronavirus (COVID-19): mental health - transition and recovery plan - gov.scot.

This role will work in collaboration with the Scottish Government digital mental health programme team. The post will directly report to the DHI Head of Engagement.

The formal base for the post will be the DHI HQ in Glasgow, but DHI operate a blended working environment where working from home, travelling to other parts of Scotland, UK and internationally are part of our operating model.
