Ciarán is a Biomedicine graduate with an MSc in Science communication and public engagement, and has a passion for communication of health and science policy to the general public.

Through his work at the DHI, Ciarán is focused on positively changing how research and evidence is used to influence policy and health and care in Scotland.

He is an advocate for citizen empowerment and a firm believer that when given the right information in the right way, the individual can have a major positive impact upon the delivery of health and care.

Ciarán is responsible for DHI research activities, performing market and policy analysis, creating workshops and knowledge exchange events.
