Sonya Joseph

Sonya is a seasoned design researcher with a diverse design education and a strong motivation to bring about change. She is currently pursuing an MRes in Healthcare and Design at The Royal College of Art in London.

Her approach to design is focused on creating solutions and systems that are transition-oriented and mission-driven, by combining design practice, design thinking, and strategic vision.

She believes innovation is an inevitable uncertainty, doing things differently, in unprecedented manners, and because the problems addressed are way too complex to use pre-established processes. She excels in analysing complex social and healthcare issues through desk research, brainstorming, and design thinking.
