About the event
Life Sciences is a key growth cluster for Scotland, which includes Healthtech, Digital Health, Pharma & Pharma Services and the 3A sector (Aquaculture, Agritec & Animal Health). The last Scottish Lifesciences strategy, penned in 2017, has served us well and set a target for us of £8 billion by 2025.
We have exceeded that target by several billions, but now isn’t the time for complacency; it’s the time to build on this growth by setting out a new, refreshed strategy.
The new strategy will take us from 2025 to 2035 and will include our aspirational growth target of 25 by 35, that is to say £25 billion from Life Sciences into the Scottish economy by 2035.
