Digital Lifelines will be delighted to welcome partners and colleagues to a day of insightful presentations, workshops and stimulating conversations.  

We are honoured the afternoon session will be opened by Ms Maree Todd, Minister for Drugs & Alcohol Policy and Sport.  


The day will be hosted by Pamela Dudek, Independent Chair, Dundee Alcohol and Drug Partnership. Speakers on the day will include Richard Lowrie, University of Edinburgh; Maggie Page, Scottish Government; Andy McAuley, Glasgow Caledonian University and Catherine Comiskey, Trinity College Dublin. 


DLS partners SCVO and Simon Community will be asking for attendees’ contributions as they explore ways to implement Digital Inclusion and Human Rights in Digital Spaces, respectively.  


Margaret Whoriskey, co-chair of the DLS Portfolio Board will introduce a session on the evolution and success of the programme to date. Attendees will hear from East Ayrshire and Angus ADPs and their partners on how they are working with DLS to generate change in their local support systems. There will also be the opportunity for ADPs to hear about applying for future funding.

Travel information


Murrayfield Stadium is located just west of Edinburgh city centre and is easy to reach by public transport. Regular tram services run from Edinburgh Airport and the city centre to Murrayfield Stadium Tram Stop, directly opposite the stadium. The nearest train station is Haymarket. From there, it’s around a 20-minute walk to the stadium, or a short hop by tram.


Please note: the only entrance for this event is via the Gatehouse on Roseburn Street, located across from the tram stop.


Parking: limited parking may be available at the venue, but spaces cannot be guaranteed on the day. If you plan to travel by car, please let us know via the form so we can inform the venue.

There may be exceptions, when some of them are passed to the University Archive Department to form part of a permanent record or are used for a longer period of time.
