Innovation Centres Roadshow 2024/25 – East of Scotland: Digital Health & Care Focus

Welcome to the first of four exciting regional Innovation Centres Roadshows! This event, hosted at Edinburgh College’s Sighthill Campus on 27th November 2024, marks the beginning of a new decade of groundbreaking activity by Scotland’s four national innovation centres. These centres connect Scotland’s academic expertise with industry, public, and third-sector organisations to drive economic and societal benefits:

• Digital Health & Care Innovation Centre (DHI)

• Built Environment – Smarter Transformation (BE-ST)

• The Data Lab (TDL)

• Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Centre (IbioIC)

What to Expect:

This is a day of learning and knowledge exchange about innovation activity in Scotland, with engaging speakers, interesting panel discussions and interactive breakout sessions with an opportunity to network with a wide range of stakeholders and organisations.

During this event, Edinburgh College’s communications team will capture photos, audio, and video footage on behalf of the Digital Health & Care Innovation Centre (DHI) and its event partners, including The DataLab, IbioIC, and BE-ST. The captured materials will be shared with DHI and these partners for use in promoting their respective initiatives.

I understand that images/videos on websites can be viewed throughout the world and not just in the United Kingdom and that some overseas countries may not provide the same level of protection to the rights of individuals as EU/UK legislation provides.

I understand that the University of Strathclyde (DHI) will retain the images/ footage/ audio for a period of five years at which point they will be securely deleted from the University’s files.

I understand that the Digital Health & Care Innovation Centre (DHI) and event partners (The DataLab, IbioIC, BE-ST and Edinburgh College), will retain and may share images and videos/audio captured at the event which may include but are not limited to website, social media channels, advertising, press releases, publications and other promotional content.
