Join us on Wednesday, the 29th of October 2025, for a dynamic webinar, hosted in collaboration by the Digital Health & Care Innovation Centre (DHI), Scotland, and the Kajaani University of Applied Sciences (KAMK), Finland.
This session explores how digital innovation and community-driven approaches are reshaping the future of healthy aging with a special focus on remote and rural areas.

From Scotland
Dr Adrian Smales (the National Robotarium / Multiverse) will discuss new approaches to frailty prevention
Professor Sarah-Anne Munoz (NES National Centre for Remote and Rural Health and Care) presents on digital community approaches to supporting healthy ageing in remote and rural areas.
From Finland
Mr Kyösti Koskela (Games Development Team Lead from KAMK), will present a visualisation tool that helps elderly users track physical activity and diet, turning data into motivation
Ms Minna Malinen (InnoXR Project Coordinator), will share insights into how innovations are designed and implemented within Finland’s wellbeing services.
