DigiBete now available across all 14 health boards following successful pilot phase

This month marks National Diabetes Awareness Month, a timely opportunity to spotlight the digital health innovations being accelerated within the Digital Health & Care Innovation Centre (DHI).

The Digital Health & Care Innovation Centre (DHI) has teamed up with the Scottish Women’s Football for this year’s DigiInventors Challenge. Fresh from a summer of record-breaking attendances at the Women’s Euro’s and headline-making sponsorship deals, the global innovation challenge aims to maintain the momentum of the women’s game, with the hope that pupils will bring fresh ideas that combine a passion for sport with the power of technology.

The Chief Scientists Office (CSO) launched a national open innovation challenge aimed at innovating mental health services in Scotland on 22nd June 2022. The aim of this challenge was to develop disruptive innovative solutions that deliver sustainable, accessible, and equitable mental health services.
