Milja contributes to the DHI’s work as an Administrative and Finance Officer, handling PA and administerial duties, as well as assisting in financial management.
Prior to her role at the DHI, she completed a master's degree in economics and policy of energy and climate change at Strathclyde University, as well as worked as a Research Assistant at the Fraser of Allander Institute.

Alongside her role at the DHI, she supports the European Island Policy Network’s Secretariat in research work and administerial duties in island governance and policymaking across Europe.
