More young adults are turning to AI chatbots instead of the NHS for health advice.
About one in five men under 35 is likely to use ChatGPT or another AI bot to find out about health conditions or check symptoms.
For women of the same age, it was about 10 to 15 per cent, with one in three females more likely to turn to social media websites such as TikTok.
