Calling all creative minds! Get ready to unleash your entrepreneurial spirit and dive into the world of digital innovation. Let us spark your imagination, equip you with valuable digital skills, and open doors to exciting careers in the digital health and care sector.
The Digital Health & Care Innovation Centre is delighted to announce the #DigiInventors Challenge 2023 Secondary School Edition, an exceptional learning opportunity for creative young minds to shine, is now live and open to all Secondary school pupils across Scotland and the UAE.
The Challenge is now entering its seventh year and is delivered by the Digital Health & Care Innovation Centre in partnership with dressCode, City of Glasgow College, The Scottish Tech Army, and Heriot-Watt University in Dubai.
The aim is to inspire and empower young people to identify and develop entrepreneurial and digital skills while raising awareness of career opportunities in the digital health and care sector.
We've produced a suite of learning and teaching resources to be used in the classroom to develop initial ideas and thinking. Successful shortlisted teams will then get access to a new range of video resources before embarking on an exciting 2-day boot camp to refine their ideas and gain insights from expert-led sessions. The journey concludes with a grand final where they'll present their brilliant ideas to our panel of esteemed judges.
Develop a digital health and care solution that utilises SMART Technology to support young people's mental health and well-being, particularly in dealing with peer pressure or bullying. Extra points are up for grabs if their idea positively impacts the environment and aligns with efforts to reach net carbon zero.
