Digital Health Master’s Induction Event

On Wednesday, the 27th September, we welcomed our 2023-24 Master’s Scholarship students from six Scottish universities for the Induction Event at the DHI Inovo Building spaces. Seventeen out of the 19 Scholarship recipients and two course convenors joined our DHI colleagues for an exciting day showcasing DHI work and engagement across the Scottish health and care sector.

The event buzzed with conversation and knowledge sharing. The attendees enjoyed a series of interactive activities engaging in creative thinking in digital health applications, as well as presentations by the DHI teams’ heads sharing important information. We are looking forward to the students next showing their own work at the annual master’s student Peer Seminar in the spring. In the meantime, we hope to see you all at the DHI master’s students’ Alumni Conference on 13th December.

The event on the 13th of December aims to promote digital health and care postgraduate education in Scotland by showcasing work carried out by students. We are inviting abstract submissions based on the applicant’s master’s dissertation or their subsequent academic research in this field. Applicants are asked to deliver a 7-minutes oral presentation. The best presentations, selected by an expert panel, will be awarded a prize. To apply, please submit a 250-word abstract using the link below no later than 17th of November. (Please note, only one submission per person.) Successful candidates will be notified by 24th of November.

There are still 4.5 full-time scholarships left for January intake. The details on the application process and contact details for further information are available on our DHI website at https://www.dhi-scotland.com/learning/master-s-scholarships/.

A warm welcome to the new students to the world of digital health and care!
