Research Fellow - Innovation Designer
Salary Range: £39,739 - £50,296
FTE 1.0 (35 hours per week)
Term: Fixed term to April 2023
The Digital Health and Care Innovation Centre (DHI) is Scotland’s national Innovation Centre for digital health and care. DHI is a partnership between the University of Strathclyde and the Glasgow School of Art, working in collaboration with NHS Scotland to address significant challenges in health and care provision with specific focus on the development, adoption and implementation of improved, digitally-enabled health and care services.
The DHI is looking for a talented Research Fellow - Innovation Designer to join our team. The Innovation Designer will be hosted by the Glasgow School of Art at the Innovation School in Forres, Moray.
At the Innovation School, the DHI promotes the use of design methodologies to develop innovative concepts for the future of digital health and care. You will work on developing new service models, delivery pathways, and digital solutions that could change the way healthcare is delivered in Scotland.
We believe that for innovation to be sustainable, it needs to evolve through direct engagement with the people for whom it is designed. We are experts in creatively directing an inclusive and iterative process, working with people to develop and prototype ideas that lead to robust solutions and valuable outcomes.
As part of a dynamic team of academic and industry experts, you will play a vital role in the delivery of health & care innovation in Scotland.
