Covid-19 Response
The Digital Health & Care Innovation Centre is collaborating with a number of stakeholders in response to Covid-19.
DHI’s Covid-19 Care in Place (CIP) programme consists of two separate projects – Proactive Telecare & Digital Care Homes.
This project aimed to identify where digital services and solutions may provide a helpful contribution to people managing, working and living in care homes for older people by supporting extended periods of ‘care in place’ due to Covid-19, and progress some potential solutions at pace.
This resulted in a range of co-design workshops and a test of change with eight care homes, resulting in rich insight and recommendations that are being progressed to the next stage, to develop and test the tool further.
