Next-Gen Innovators: #DigiInventors Challenge Primary School Edition is now live

#DigiInventors 2024 Challenge - Where imagination meets innovation

The Digital Health & Care Innovation Centre, in partnership with Raising Aspirations In Science Education (RAiSE) and the City of Glasgow College, is excited to announce the launch of the #DigiInventors Challenge 2024 Primary School Edition.

Primary school pupils participating in the #DigiInventors Challenge will have the opportunity to develop entrepreneurial and digital skills. This experience will also expose them to potential career paths in the digital health and care sector.

This challenge calls for primary 5,6,7 pupils to take on the task of developing ideas that could be transformed into digital health and care solutions, with an added incentive for ideas that positively impact the environment and support efforts to reach net carbon zero!

Raising Aspirations In Science Education (RAiSE) has created a set of educational resources that align with Second Level CfE outcomes. These can be easily integrated into an eight - week classroom curriculum, providing teachers with all the necessary tools to involve their pupils.

Key dates for the #DigiInventors Challenge 2024 include the challenge launch on 8th January 2024, the application submission deadline on 1st March 2024. The winners will be announced on 18th March 2024, followed by an award ceremony held at the City of Glasgow College on 23rd April 2024 where the winners will collect their certificates and prizes!
